Third Bierfabriek branche to open at Apllo Hotel Almere
Posted on 25/10/2016
Almere, 25 October 2016 – a third Bierfabriek branch is to open right in the centre, next to the Stadschouwburg in early 2017. The unique food and beverage industry concept will be based in Apollo Hotel Almere City Centre and is a partnership between the hotel chain and Bierfabriek.
Wouter Dekker, General Manager at Apollo Hotel Almere City Centre and franchisee is counting down to the opening. "For quite some time we were on the lookout for a suitable place for our food & beverage concept and after some in-depth research we came across the Bierfabriek concept. The things that really appeal to us about this concept are the informal atmosphere, the amazingly good food and the competitive price/quality ratio. The ambience of the Bierfabriek Almere that our guests can experience will be a perfect addition to our hotel. It will become the place to go in Almere for young and old alike!"
Ronald Bolhuis, co-owner of Bierfabriek adds: “Apollo Hotel Almere is an absolutely perfect location for us; it is located on the banks of the beautiful Weerwater lake in Almere. The alterations have already started; our architect Orio Tonini is transforming the space into a typical Bierfabriek location, along with the brewing equipment and charcoal barbecue. We have opted for a rugged and industrial look, but it will ooze ambience too! This will be a place where you feel at home. You just need to be patient for a little while longer, then you and your friends will be able to take seat at one of the tap tables, but ordinary tables are available too of course..."
Almere's Bierfabriek concept will be similar to that in Amsterdam and Delft: a combination of home-brewed beer, farm chickens, self-service tap tables and monkey nut shells strewn across the floor. It will have a truly unique character. Right in the middle of its restaurant, Bierfabriek brews the exclusive beers ROSSO (a red ale) and the NERO (a dark porter). The unfiltered pilsner lager, PUUR, is brewed especially for the Bierfabriek. The pride and joy of the simple but carefully compiled menu is the now famous French organically reared farm chicken, roasted on the charcoal barbecue. Alterations will start at the hotel in October, allowing Bierfabriek Almere to open in February 2017.
